Well after watching the first half of the Stanford -USC game I had recorded,I don’t feel quite as bad about the first half of the Oregon State game. 52-3 as I recall. Ouch!

Conners is fun to watch. He has a natural nose for the ball and is an excellent tackler. His and Larison’s efforts stood out. Although clearly overmatched, there didn’t seem to be a lot of fire in many of the other players. I think expectations were that it would be more competitive. Depending on how they use the experience - it could be good or bad - like most things in life.

Montana State led most of the game - they had to settle for a field goal after a first and goal from the 1 - to go ahead by 3 then SDSU scored.

Every time they go away from Larison - it is disaster

Hope they don’t get demoralized. That would be the worst part.

Larison is a one-man show.

big difference in speed. Explosive play after explosive play. Let’s just hope nobody gets injured.

Special teams are getting killed. Only thing working is Larison running without trying cute stuff.

Well, OSU hung 66 on Montana State last year - although MSU did score 28.

Oregon stage too fast for sweeps. Most effective has been up the middle with Larison.

Stay with Larison. Tompkins is not going to fool anyone. O line doing well.

This isn’t big sky, but the biggest surprise of the day - granted just the first half with 2:27 to go in first half -is Austin Peay 6 Tennessee 6. Austin Peay has out executed Tennessee despite being decidedly lacking in the physical matchup. Austin Peay is not even picked to win or place high on their league. Don’t expect this to last.

San Jose State up 17-0 end of first quarter. Poly 3 turnovers. Huard has an arm but makes some poor decisions. SJSU just scored a TD at first of 2nd quarter. This is going to be a blood bath.

yah, BC is not good. HC did as good or better against the Jacks than Montana State. SDSU was just better than everyone else - especially by the end of the season.

I think a key to staying in the game is to get some pressure on their QB. He had all day - and I mean all day to sit in the pocket against San Jose State.

I did have a great day. As I recall I won the local pp&k competition. I think I wore boots so I could punch my kick with the old straight-on method. Hope you have a great day too. Fond memories.
