After meeting Urijah Faber at the last home game...I was inspired to reconnect with Derek Moore's incredible 2007 NCAA National Championship performance:

Moore beat favored Northwestern Wildcat Ryan Lang by a score of 17-2 in the final for a technical fall and was named Most Outstanding Wrestler for the tournament. It was one of the all-time NCAA wrestling performances. He made Lang's little brother cry.

Another note - Hey UC Davis Athletics - is it so much to ask to get a YouTube highlight compilation for every UC Davis game? SUU does it every week, it should be standard.

Another Another note - couldn't find tape on the the SUU @ Sac game...but the Honut QB Kevin Thompson had a huge, Cam Newton like day, throwing and running for huge chunk of yards, and 7 total TDs on the night (Sac had 586 of total yards on offense). SUU also turned the ball over 3 times.

Goes to show what a great fit Maier has been.

So, interesting situation in Pocatello...the starting kicker quit earlier in the year, then the next guy to kick, the original kicker's brother...quit in the middle of last week's game.

Weird.
