  • Admissions scandal at Berkeley, 3 more UCs
Obviously, the vast, vast majority of students who are admitted get in on merits, aptitudes and abilities. It's just a shame it has to be overshadowed by something so unnecessary. One great thing about UCD, and I don't know the current numbers on this, but last I read UC Davis has the most first time graduates within their family than any other University in America. My Dad was one of those way back in '72.
  • It’s official - Washington fill in the blank pro football franchise
The announcers at last weeks game kept saying Redskins. Tough when you don't have a mascot.
  • Davis Sport Shop is Closing after 64 Years
That little shop had a lot of the best Aggie gear...hope UCD Bookstore picks up the pace.
  • Forum Cost
Yes, we'll make a run from Thanksgiving to mid-December. Site runs on about $50/month, we try for $600. Locked away for safe use every year...via Paypal
  • Will UCD cut any sports ?
    ↪Goags20172
Yeah, you'd think it would. Maybe the coach had a great lawyer read the contract and get some things added in, but good lawd.

Ugh, pats on the back and back alley winks...can't a young person simply get in on their merits and willingness to learn? Geez, the easy way...so stupid. Glad they're uncovering this garbage, and if it's going on at UCD it should be stopped immediately, reprimand those who were involved if so.

  • Article on Darryl Goss
There is nothing that directly affects a prospective college kid more than directly financing their tuition and costs to attend college. Am a big supporter of private scholarships and older graduates supporting and mentoring the incoming classes.
  • Keelan Doss: Raider Watch
Henry Ruggs III left the Carolina game with what looked like a knee injury, thankfully for the Raiders, the speedster was back on the field in the second half.

Injuries happen, Doss just needs to keep grinding, which is exactly what a practice squad player is paid to do: Be ready.
  • Bob Biggs’ Health Issues
Prayers for Bob and family. Always a class guy, and mentally strong. Hoping all signs point to better health, we know he's got great doctors in his corner.

I was sitting in my truck looking out at the Bay last Saturday at dusk...the weather got really humid, and Thor started cracking down visible bolts all over the place...I was watching in horror...because it has been so dry, you know fires were starting up...all over the place. Two of my jobs were direclty affected, one shut down as the entire mountainside is basically a fuel center, thankfully the other two are free of this mess aside from the smoke.

May you live in interesting times...

Come on vaccine... come on... maybe an Aggie will be key in developing one.

Stay Safe all, football will be back, but not yet.

    FWIW

...and for what it's also worth, Doss signed a Re-signed/exclusive FA One-year contract (through 2020) on May 6. Not sure what that means for the Raiders and Doss after the cutdown...my guess is he's tradable for a certain price, o/w the Raiders will continue to develop Kee and use him as a spot backup should injuries arrive...and they always do.
  • Scary News if Real
Good people cost money, good people are in high demand. It should always be competitive for employers to keep those who bring a lot to the table...Blue is certainly that, and if the Aggies want to compete they'll have to appeal to him in a variety of ways.
  • No Big Sky football this fall
I don't even know the legality, but following a thorough examination series, and coming up clean, could a player sign a waiver...freeing up any retribution to the university should a player later contract the virus while playing competitively?
  • Will UCD cut any sports ?
Is this a money problem or a spending problem? Everybody needs to get real Spartan, real quick.
