SochorField and I are always mingling at the 50 out in front of the Bruce Edwards room on the west side of the stadium.

Try an AmTrak, non-sleeper cabin, from Portland, OR to Fargo, ND -- I actually did that once -- you'd wake up to the most beautiful views out the window, but would be lucky to sleep 5 hours out of 22 it was so uncomfortable.

If winning games and being as successful as this team is right now won't put students in the stands, how will being blown out (potentially) by UNLV, San Jose State, Air Force for 1-2 years pack them in the seats? Feels really shallow - whatever the issue is, something has to be done to turn students on to football, period. If we're not doing it now, we won't do it at the next level, that's my two cents. However, like you said, the level/name of the opponent changes, maybe this draws students out.

I just don't think we have the proper fan support to jump so quickly - I personally hope we stay in the Big Sky for another 4-5 years until we sell out every home game.

Yeah, me too - we bump football to the Mountain West in the next 2-3 years - kiss the playoff goodbye for some time...until we're strong enough to contend. (thinking of Boise State) --- and we just started competing for the FCS Playoff in earnest in the last 6 years.

I'd say put some tin foil on that donation -- but in all honesty, that's smart.

Like we track the goings on at Sac, South Dakota State tracks the goings on at North Dakota State -- if the Bison move...the Jackrabbits will try to move as well.

You're fine - it's not much, but it's best to let the community drive the drive - we are all keeping this thing alive with content, hot takes and the teams performing their hearts out.

Yeah, I think Plough's going to get my $1000 this off-season. Especially after the run I had at Cache Creek before the game last Saturday.

Dallas, TX - CLOSE ENOUGH! Sounds like an accomplished dude, what a gift! My goodness...

"I owe a lot to USD for giving me the opportunity to excel, on the field and in the classroom, the operating room and the boardroom. The scholarship I received changed my life," commented Dr. House. "This donation is my way of paying it forward, so future student-athletes can have the same shot at success I had. It's not just about football—it's about giving the next generation the tools they need to succeed, academically and athletically."

When people disrespect sports, especially football, and point a finger towards eliminating them and pursuing nothing but academics I think of the countless stories of sports being able to transform certain lives and families. You have to do it right, but sports can be a transformative bridge into an amazing life.
