Matty had dropped the highlights of the Vikings win in Sac, but I missed it! The Sac QB is a gunslinger, arm angles, fast decisions, crazy, Sac can play man, but it was just PSU's night in the end.
So, Montana LT Cannon Panfiloff was hurt in San Luis Obispo. Can't see him missing the Davis game without it being pretty bad, but if he doesn't play, would be a boost for the pass rush.
I honestly don't care what his personality is, Montana will be ready and use any means necessary to gain an edge on Saturday...this includes the crowd, special teams and talking about the Aggies' mamas on the field to stir up personal fouls.
I will say though from that presser, while Plough would preach to 'Find Joy', Hauck might respond 'No, Thank You.'
I remember that game fondly. Remember also that I heard it was the first time Hawk got a technical called on him (not sure if that's true or not) right before halftime - some personal foul that was not called and he went ape on the whole thing. Needless to say it was spicy in the locker room at halftime, and Davis simply came out and shredded, the 4th quarter was unbelievable. It's too bad that game isn't on YouTube.
Montana has allowed 7 points in the last 8 quarters of football. Granted, it's UNC and Poly, but what has the Griz defense been doing to be so dominant?
