I was lucky enough to be on campus during those Rex Peters coached years, big memories of beating Stanford in the western regional opener and going toe-to-toe with Oregon State at home, I think it was a 2-1 game. The Aggies were fun to watch when Descalso was out there.

I think it was 2008, when there was the western regional playoffs in Palo Alto. Aggies won the first 4-2 @ Stanford, then dropped two straight to get bounced out.

Hope he can help Hastings get the ball down field...now just need some elite targets!

Man, I can remember watching the Aggies play little South Dakota State at Toomey back in 2004...Davis beat 'em 52-0. March forward 18 years and they're FCS National Champs. What a fantastic win for the Jacks, and over a very close rival. That staff has put in a ton of time and paid dues on the recruitment trail, so cool to see it pay off.

Well, it was the first game of the year, but seeing SDSU take it to the Bison right now, and seeing the Ags play them so close gives me hope...but there has to be more balance in the schedule obviously. It's only prudent to do your best as a scheduler, with an already tough Big Sky schedule, to get some decent OOC games that aren't on a path of potential slaugther. I like TAMC, I like Utah Tech, good upcoming home and homes.

Boy, both my Dad and Stepmom (in Oregon) and my Mom (in Arizona) were both down with a terrible cough. Not sure if it was full blown COVID, but they were not in the celebrating mood that's for sure. I was out with an immobilizing flu about 4 weeks ago, which is super rare for me. Might've been COVID, I'm only now getting my taste back.
