If the initial notes on game time are correct, the Aggies will be playing in the East Texas heat at around 3 pm Central. I think this rivals UC Davis @ TCU in 2006 as the hottest (with all humidity factors mixed in) game time temps the Davis squad will experience in over 15 years. Fort Worth is only 100 miles west of Commerce.

Average temps in that part of Texas in early/mid-September are high-80's to mid-90's

Sambo's is good (though I think it was permanently closed post-COVID...and for other reasons) if you get out to Depoe Bay - go with Restaurant Beck at Whale Cove Inn. Best food I've had on the Oregon Coast - a little bit fancy there, views are tremendous. Local Ocean Seafoods in Newport is really good as well.

It is noteworthy that it's only a short 1 hr. ride on Hwy 20 due west to get to Newport and the Oregon Coast from Corvallis, it's very pretty there in September.

I'll wager somebody in that car will want to hit the Seven Feathers en route.

How are the Aggies offensively? Is the lineup more power centralized, are they playing small ball and stealing bags, or is it a mixed bag?

I'd assume Molson-Coors isn't nudging Sudwerk out of beer provisions, given UC Davis' heavy ties with Sudwerk Brewery.

The Rigby, ID native is returning to the Gem State. Togiai, a 6-6, 320LB Offensive Lineman who was initially recruited to play for the BYU Cougars coming out of Rigby High School in 2021, and since has transferred back home to Idaho to play for the Bengals.
