WHAT ARE WE DOING?! Hawk that’s got to be 4 down territory!

Once again the offense does nothing with what the defense gives them. We have got to get this figured out. Too many missed offensive opportunities.

I was more getting at the fact that he would normally be willing to for it on fourth on our own 38 risking the field position but going for it on 2nd and goal from the 1 with 3 seconds left is too much. Agee the clock management was pretty bad. Should have called a time out a lot earlier in the drive.

Where did the Hawk I know and love go? The Hawk I know would never have kicked that. We go for it on 4th all over the field but goal from the 1 is too much. Pitiful.

We have to finish that tackle.

Seems like we are getting a better push at the LOS.

I feel like we’ve run the same swing pass to Gilliam 10 times. I would like to see us push down the field more. I really miss plough.

I've just decided to go turn on the radio and synced it with the feed. Those guys just became too much for me.

We just did not show up today. I feel like this was coming. The offense really hasn’t looked impressive since Dixie state and we have relied on our defense to keep us in games. Offense gave the ball away too many times and the defense couldn’t keep up. Tough loss. I hope we can respond.

I’m surprised that if hawk was planning to go for it that we wouldn’t try to pick up a chunk first. Decided to go to the sticks twice. Interesting move.

I think it’s become wildly obvious the rule is broken. There are too many bang bang plays where the defender has committed to a hit and the offensive player ducks their head or moves into a position that leads to helmet to helmet contact. I think it’s unfair to toss a guy out for something that he really couldn’t avoid. I agree the helmet to helmet hits need to get out of the game but the way they are penalized needs to be changed. I hope it’s something the rules committee and other decision makers start talking about.

I personally think this may be part of a bigger issue surrounding UC Davis gear. I have searched both the online student store and the athletics hosted store and neither one ever seems to have a ton of great gear that I would love to buy. Seems like you have to go on campus to get anything decent and the best stuff I’ve seen seems to only be available on game day. I think the university and athletics is really missing an opportunity to put out well branded products. If anyone knows of a better place to get UC Davis branded clothing, hats, and other items, let me know.

Coming back from the Cal game, was streaming the game on Bart and the bus and they had no on screen score. Got home and now we have on screen score but no down and distance? Is it just first game issues or is the broadcast quality really not going to improve much from Pluto to ESPN?

I took Kouba my first quarter at Davis. He is certainly one of the best professors I had. I had never seen calculus and he made it easy to understand and provided and insane amount of recourses. I actually had a friend start at Davis last fall and referred him to Koubas recourses. He was super passionate and made an 8 am calc class super fun and engaging. A lot of professors could learn from him.

Do we usually expand the class during the winter signing period? It seems like some guys will hold out, hoping to get an FBS offer and when it doesn't come they sign with us later.

Reading the press release it sounds like the Fall sports that were moved to spring have been cancelled. It seems a little weird to me that they are willing to continue on with men's and women's basketball but not the outdoor sports like soccer and cross-country. The most logical answer would be revenue generation.
