I don't want to revive an old thread, so I'll just place this stuff over here.

Here's an update to the Massey rankings related to our schedule:

    https://www.masseyratings.com/cf2018/ncaa-d1/ratings

Current - School - (Week 11 Ranking - My previous update)

    #23 Stanford (#33)
    #61 Eastern Washington (#97) - Up 1
    #85 UC Davis (#86) - Down 1
    #113 Northern Iowa (New Entry)
    #137 Idaho State (#123)
    #138 Montana (#145) - Up 1
    #142 San Jose State (#144) - Down 1
    #151 Cal Poly (#179) - Up 1
    #164 Idaho (#148) - Down 1
    #175 San Diego (#181)
    #178 Northern Arizona (#187)
    #203 Northern Colorado (#201)
    #209 Sacramento State (#207)

The last time I did this update was before the Eastern Washington loss.
Since then, Eastern Washington and Cal Poly have moved up in rankings significantly while Idaho dropped.

Eastern Washington is currently ranked better than FBS schools like UCLA, BYU, Nebraska, Virginia Tech, Arizona, Texas Tech, and Kansas State.

We're currently ranked better than FBS schools like Hawaii, Kansas, Arkansas, Air Force, Colorado, and Nevada.

Looking at next year's schedule in chronological order while using this year's rankings:

    #50 California
    #175 San Diego
    #222 Lehigh
    #24 North Dakota State
    #138 Montana
    #153 North Dakota
    #151 Cal Poly
    #213 Southern Utah
    #94 Weber State
    #179 Portland State
    #115 Montana State
    #209 Sacramento State

We are currently ranked higher than ten out of twelve teams.
The way, way, way too early projection for next year is therefore a record of 10-2. :)

According to one poster on the Eastern Washington board:

"5 guys on D gone makes a huge difference. Hope we get the 3 back we can did realize this till after the game."

I presume that should make some difference in the next game. Shouldn't it?

What's the best way to buy visitor side tickets? Or what sections are they?

Edit: Tickets on sale Sunday at noon at goeags.com/tickets
  • FCS Playoffs Quarterfinals: UC Davis @ Eastern Washington v2.0

I just booked from SFO to Spokane round trip.
I don't think I can take the 29F weather though.
  • FCS Playoffs Quarterfinals: UC Davis @ Eastern Washington v2.0
I think Eastern Washington had some key injuries before today's game. What is their injury situation now?
  • Round 2 - FCS PLAYOFFS
If the stars align, I'm hoping for another UCD home game next weekend.
  • FCS Playoffs Round 2: UNI @ UC Davis
I presume practically all school sports administrators, faculty, Davis Enterprise sports writers, or the like read this forum.

Accuweather's minutecast show that rain will be starting at 12:17 p.m. That looks to be brief.
  • FCS Playoffs Round 2: UNI @ UC Davis
Alright. I guess I have to ditch accuweather if they're this way off.
  • FCS Playoffs Round 2: UNI @ UC Davis
My weather site is now saying rain on Saturday from 9am to 1pm and 4pm to 6 pm. What does yours say?
  • FCS Playoffs Round 2: UNI @ UC Davis
I haven't compared different weather sites. I use accuweather. Perhaps I should research which sites are the most accurate? Better yet, perhaps you guys have already figured it out, and weather underground is the winner?
  • FCS Playoffs Round 2: UNI @ UC Davis
I keep on seeing showers at 5 and 6 p.m. on game night or an equivalent of 0.04 inches of rain. That's not bad. Is it?

"The mobile app doesn't let you pick your seat numbers (?, does it ?),"

I think you're right. I had to open up a seating chart on my computer and figured out where i sat before to determine if I wanted the seats my mobile phone gave me.

I also don't know why I can order the tickets via mobile but can't on my computer. Perhaps someone else can duplicate my results?

I have mine as "will call," but I think both choices are available.

Here are the updated Massey odds for winning the championships:

School - Current - (Previous) - rough odds

    NDSU - 62.01% - (64.97%) - 2 to 3
    Eastern Washington - 17.41% - (16.09%) - 6 to 1
    South Dakota State - 8.45% - (7.01%) - 12 to 1
    Weber State - 4.67% - (3.40%) - 20 to 1
    UC Davis - 2.67% - (2.25%) - 40 to 1
    Kennesaw - 2.12% - (1.86%) - 50 to 1
    James Madison - 1.07% - (1.91%) - 100 to 1

These are the only teams that have at least a 1% chance of winning.

It's interesting to see NDSU and especially James Madison's chances decrease after round 1 games.

Also, UCD's chances of winning against UNI has increased from 67.26% to 70.78%.
Massey predicts the score will be 31 to 24 in UCD's favor.

The online system did not work for me on my computer, but it was fine with my phone. I bought mine last Sunday.

Any thoughts of the matchup after the Lamar-UNI game?

UNI doesn't look as scary as I had thought. However, they're known to play very well and very awful all season.
I thought their rushing game was pretty decent, and they look like they'll burn off the clock when they're ahead. I'm hoping they'll get a lot of three and out varieties of a rush, rush, pass, and punt.
It sounds like their secondary and linebacker positions are their weaknesses due to injuries. I presume their defensive and offensive lines are good.
I think Maier should have a field day against their secondaries, but I'm curious to see how we can stop their running attacks.
We just need to get them out of field goal range, because their kicker is very reliable.

Wow! That Lamar QB is awesome!
