Yeah, I saw the (relatively) low number of assists and high number of paint points and thought Davis must have been getting some good lanes.

Morgan Bertsch just traded to Phoenix as part of a package deal with Kahleah Copper.

Could be a good deal for her, since Phoenix sent Breanna Turner to Chicago and Megan Gustafson moved to Las Vegas in free agency, so PHX has a bit of a hole off the bench at the 4/5 position.

SLO wins by 10. Aggies just couldn't get any separation and had to resort to fouling at the end of the game.

Side note to gush over Caitlin Clark. Just so good. Leads scoring per game by a LOT, and, oh by the way, is also 2nd in assists/game.

A few other comments: excellent D by Davis in the 2nd half, limited UCSD to single digits in both quarters.

Turnovers trending in a better direction. Interestingly, as much as we all grump about TOs, Burns is 3rd in the league in assist/TO ratio, leads the league in assists per game, and the team overall leads the league in assist/TO. Go figure.
