We share a common faculty director with the student-run Lehigh Marching 97: Jonathan Elkus. He was at Lehigh from 1957 to 1972 and Davis from 1992 to 2002--a big supporter of the student-run concept.

State fiscal year just switched--may have had something to do with the timing.

Saw the AST twitter account retweet the signing of junior transfer Mackenzie Trpcic from University of Albany. 5'7" assist machine, looks like. 197 assists last year! Should fit in nicely!

edit: last name is pronounced "TERP-chich" for those who were wondering (like me).

(UCD had ~600 total assists for last season--150ish by Ms. Eaton--for comparison.)

They did Little League Opening Day in the CA hats. Big fan, as well.

Looking over the stats: big edge to the Aggies in defensive rebounds. Very helpful when up against a team that wants to shoot the lights out. Limit the second chance points!
