FWIW, San Jose State beat UNLV. Good for the Spartans! They've had some tough losses.

Tough, scrappy, or dirty? They made tackles, gang tackles, we didn't. Their QB ran the width of their field twice on one play. He broke tackles. My screen is small. Maybe they were jamming receivers, giving an extra jab here or there. All good prep for the playoffs.

I think it was a tie in Q1. Q2 was when we were beat numerically, emotionally, and effort. Penalties and field position big hurdles.

There was more in the Q2 meltdown than questionable referee calls. Their reverse and double reverse work. Smart 3 TE lineup outside bulldozes for a 1st down. Big receiving plays, gang tackling. Gillium run works 2x in a row, 3x predictably stopped. Thomas has only had token carries, Harrell misses a deep ball. Doss completely shut down.
