RealClearPolitics: James Carville: Trump Will "Quit" The Race

Vanity Fair, Sept 1, 2016: The Republican Party Is Committing Suicide

For the record, I'm not a Republican. Second, Trump isn't an establishment GOP candidate, either.

It's the establishent "UniParty" members - McConnels (R), Chans (R), Bidens (D) and Clintons (D) - who sold off our country. The USMCA trade deal might be the first deal in decades not written by our crooked Chamber of Commerce / lobbyists / Wall Street.

Lotta Millenials out partying, sharing the goods before & after "protesting".
  • COVID-19
Are you really worried about asymptomatic 25 years olds, or mortality / deaths? The liberal media is hyping the former.

Here are graphs with alleged Covid deaths per 100,000 people.

Another graph I saw added in the #1 geographic area - New York. Take that subset out, they are by far #1, and the remaining US numbers get even smaller.

BTW, both Iceland & Germany show virtually no transmission from child to child.

Doesn't the Fighting Irish serve a perfect example?

BTW, does the one-drop rule also cover Native American heritage? Bc I'm a LOT more Native American than Ms. Warren.

What was really bad were the names and combined with highly negative characterizations used on school programs, as one example.

The Fighting Irish doesn't seem to bother anyone.

Washington Deep State or Deep Swamp.

    I like Foggy Bottom.

    Generals? Rioters?

I thought in previous years Native American groups liked the moniker.

Did DQ University ever field any team?

We were hoping to see a QB battle this summer... Mortality rate very low for those under 70, so it must be rock bottom for the under-25 cohort.

Hawkins has a full cupboard. Are they working out in small groups?

Pac-12 to Move to Conference Only Football Schedule

The college football landscape continues to shift in response to the coronavirus.

I wonder if Hawk would consider offering an "exhibition" game with Berkeley or Stanford?

I'm no scientist, but I believe the transmission of CCP19 is high, but the mortality is quite low. For those under 70 its very low. I believe the average age of mortality is 82, and an immunologist from New Jersey said comorbidities like obesity and diabetes compound the problem.

The public health officials / politicians also keep changing the definitions / parameters. What used to be one diagnosed infection can now include 8-15 contacts in some areas, even without testing.

I wear a mask, but its apparently controversial. Sweden doesn't use masks, even admissions nurses at hospitals don't use them.

We'll be studying this for years. How much of the recent uptick is due to large & intimate BLM protests... and there are rumblings of infected people from Mexico impacting numbers and possibly being double counted.

Why didn't we have a plan to protect our seniors and the vulnerable? We even blew the basics, Jerry Brown and Cuomo not having basic medical equipment stockpiled. (I give Newsom a partial pass being new to his position.)

    - 3.5% unemployment (pre-Covid)
    - our President who funded Historically Black Colleges, signed major prison reform, and produced the lowest African-American unemployment rate ever - is racist?
    - 600,000 new manufacturing jobs (pre-Covid)
    - According to author Michael Pillsbury, author of the 100 Year Marathon & China expert, the Chinese consider President Trump our sharpest and toughest president since Eisenhower.
    - all this while the FBI, DOJ, CIA and DNC spy and attempted an unprecedented coup?

Blue states want to shut down schools, why? I understand being very cautious, but the infection rate is currently below the flu's rate. Even doctors in Walnut Creek (John Muir) warned of suicide rates through the roof, and this 10-day-to-flatten-the-curve turned into a 3-month shutdown contributed to nationwide looting, rioting, arson, dozens of murders and a 200% increase in New York shootings? Why? Hysteria, and because some liberals want to tank the economy?

Rapidly declining Biden means a Socialist bartender, Bernie Sanders & BLM run our country. Looking forward to a $90 Trillion in Green New Deal taxes? ($600,000 per household)

They're redoing an automobile bridge near the new math buolding / Crocker Nuclear Lab.

The embankments also appear to be having work done.

    I bet Montana does.

Given that the infection rate of those under 70 is lower than the regular flu and the average age of someone who dies from CCP-19 is 82, who would we be protecting?

Are the anti-football crowd / academics / feminists seizing an opportunity to further cripple "toxic masculinity" and football, simultaneously?

Lotta work being done on Putah Creek... maybe on anticipation of rowing on Lake Spafford?

Dodn't we just build a new field hockey site?

    Gender equity?

And what if the Montanas & Dakotas decide to play football. Do we forfeit?
  • Stanford cuts some sports
Stanford currently has 36 sports and it stated a $12 Million yearly deficit, which could hit $75 Million total after 3 years.

"The 11 sports that will be discontinued are men's and women's fencing, field hockey, lightweight rowing, men's rowing, co-ed and women's sailing, squash, synchronized swimming, men's volleyball and wrestling."

So the Cardinal will still have 25 teams.

Stanford expert says 80-85 percent of Texas hospital patients 'have nothing to do with COVID-19'

"Scott Atlas, former chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center and a senior fellow at Stanford’s Hoover Institution, said Monday that for people under 70, the death rate from COVID-19 is lower than or equal to the seasonal flu."
