    Both one year guys.

We went from a 10-20 win team that competed with Berkeley and UCLA (7 pt loss), to a 5 win team losing by 43 under Les. By seasons end, ugly 30, 40 point losses. Everyone was tentative. We didn't really use Dupont, Kurtz, Tiffin or Corbin. A solid player (Dupont) and 4 developing players left.

Peyton Dixon update - from the New Mexico football website.

"2021 (Redshirt Sophomore Season): Saw action in three games, with one start … rushed 29 times for 120 yards … also returned six kickoffs for 135 yards on the season … made his season debut against his old club, rushing five times for 21 yards and returning three kickoffs for 72 yards with a long of 29 … rushed just once aginst Boise State, but returned three kicks for 63 yards with a long of 25 yards … started in the finale against Utah State, and despite his hand in a cast, he rushed for 95 yards on 23 carries, with a long of 23 yards."

The recent limited football transfers made more sense.

Jordan Perryman, 6th year, steps up to Pac 12 with Coach Hawkins blessing (classy). (New article posted in Football under Perryman transfer.)

RB Dixon, who never played, transferred out (his second transfer).

Gilliam announced a transfer, then came home.

UC Davis transfer is ‘extremely competitive,’ brings experience to UW defensive backfield

Hawkins raved about Perryman, so UW jumped.

    Great article.

I believe that's 6 Aggies in the portal, matching Bakersfield.

    BJ Shaw - G
    Fuller - G
    Manjon - PG
    Niles - G
    Haynesworth - PG
    McGill - F

I'm surprised by the latest Haynesworth transfer, given 4 other guards departed and lots of available minutes.

Les won't 'work bigs' down low. It's wings, or guard penetration.

    UC Davis Athletics

"Taylor Chapatte has been named the UC Davis tight ends coach, Aggies head coach Dan Hawkins announced. Chapatte comes to Davis from the University of San Diego, where he spent four seasons as an assistant coach.

"Chapatte was the pass game coordinator/quarterbacks coach for two seasons with the Toreros and was the wide receivers coach the previous two seasons."

Do these studies take into account the popularity of baseball in Latin America? TV, computers, and absent Father's hard to replace.

Shortening the length of games seems to be one key. Baseball needs buy in from everyone, coaches, umpires, leaders. Pro baseball may have to ratchet down salaries.

UCSD now losing PG Kaden Rasheed (transferring)... is this new to us?
  • 2022 Roster
Play calling needs to be less predictable. UG up the gut on first and second down reminded me of Gould's offense, doesn't help the O line, doesn't help 3rd and long. Our halfback pass is also SOP.

Was it like that 3-4 years ago?
  • Sac shooting: 6 dead, 12 injured
Tragic. A friend says at night it's dangerous. Pretty stupid if the city allows all clubs to stay open until 2 AM.

There was a major concert at Golden 1 Arena. I'm surprised thete has been no official press conference. You're probably correct, a narrative will come out from DC, hence the delay.
  • Sac State Men's Basketball Coaching Search.

    Head coaching record.

    10-23, 4-12 Conference - 2018 - 19
    17-15, 7-9 Conference - 2019 - 20
    27-38, .415

The two years before his arrival they had 9 and 7 victories. He bolted after one good year.

A 'need' likely also key... say a high mid major needs a PG, I would think Manjon would get a long look.

Of the thousand players, probably lots saw limited time, others newbies. Take out grad transfers, and proven starters a fraction of the pool.
