As has been noted, the talent level of the opponent tonight didn't exact have you shaking in your shoes, but still, after the other night in Chicago it was important for the team to get that bad taste out of their mouth with such a resounding win. They came out an preformed like you'd hope and expect them to and the result was obviously never in doubt. I think it was actually somewhat important to see such a emphatic win,if they had messed around and somehow just squeaked out a W, it would have almost felt like a loss. Great to see the team shoot so well, if Stef and Joe can find their strokes consistently that will go a long way in allowing this team to succeed.

Thanks for the welcome to the board, I've been a lurker for a while and figured it was time to join in! I live in Dallas so I don't get to see the team in person a ton, but I am able to stream most of their games one way or another. You're definitely right, the schedule is much more manageable than last year but still challenging with the high number of road games. I'd take an 8-8 start in a heartbeat, anything but last year where there seemed to be a black cloud over the team that it could never shake. I'm a big believer in Coach Les and I think he's going have the team ready to bounce back from last year and sneak up on the "top dogs" of the conference.

I think the biggest thing for the team this year is simply not getting buried early in the non-conference schedule like last year. I firmly believe that all the tough losses early in the year took its toll on the team mentally and they were never able to dig out of that hole and get rolling and really feel good about themselves as a team. Just a little bit of positive reinforcement with a few wins early in the year this season will go a long way. I can't wait to tip it off!!!
