These projected conference shuffles are interesting to speculate upon but I rarely find them convincing, especially when there isn't solid evidence to back them up. Personally, I'd rather make some more deep runs in the playoffs before we entertain the thought of becoming perennial Salad Bowl contenders.

Truly a great year. This is the most optimism I've ever felt for Aggie football.

Ah, you just made me remember the barbershop in Lower Freeborn too. Always thought that was neat to have on campus, although the only time I went there I got a surprisingly disappointing haircut.

And yeah, that bathroom could be a bit creepy...IIRC the automatic lighting went out at inopportune times...

Ooh, now I'm really stretching my memory...I do recall the gas pump...I don't remember Jerry...do you mean the bathroom that was outside of the station and down the hall? That was the one I remember being the closest. Perhaps Gunrock47 can fill in here...?

Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, and dozens of Middle America towns that have never seen a spontaneous band gig before...? I think the last time the Band-uh was there (2007?) they flew to the Twin Cities then drove the rest of the way to Fargo. That seems like it would be more likely than a road trip. A strong Aggie reppin' at the Fargodome would be awesome for the program.

Of course, it'd be nicer to see the band at closer away opponents next year too, like San Diego, Southern Utah, and Portland State (I know quite a few fellow alumni who have settled there, and a Band-uh appearance would be a great way to get them to Providence Park).

That makes this Band-uh alum so glad to hear. I hope you, everyone else, and future members will get to have even more amazing trips.

Kind of a bummer for KDVS to have to move to a new place, but I guess there's no sense in having wrecking crew sounds making their way into the broadcasting studios. I hope wherever the station moves to, they'll have enough space for their huge record collection. I was a DJ for a couple years while I was a student...fond memories of descending underground into the tunnels of Lower Freeborn, sometimes at three in the morning...perusing the maze of shelves housing what I was told was either the second or third-largest record collection in the state (our competitors being Stanford's KZSU, with thee largest collection owned by Dr. Demento)...finding albums I never thought I'd see in my life...catnapping on that big nasty couch while waiting for my turn to man the turntables...decades of posters covering the walls... Okay, I'll stop reminiscing but I still think how lucky I was that I got to experience radio first-hand at this station, and I don't see how other college stations could offer aspiring DJs a better experience.

On one hand, of course I'm bummed about losing this hard-fought game. On the other, just the fact that we got to this game exceeded any expectations I may have had at the beginning of the season. This has been the most fun I've had following Aggie football since my freshman year at Davis more than a decade ago, and I look forward to more fun next year.

Most depressing touchdown ever for Weber State. They fought back as much as they could but it couldn't be enough with those spent timeouts. What a game.
