It has to be more than distance. The Pac12 is pretty spread out. Looking just at USC, they play Oregon, Washington, CO, and Utah for conference games. But maybe access to a major airport is a bigger issue, especially if MSP is the only option and is three hours away. Something just never seems to add up. Either way, makes no difference to me. Looking forward to a good game this Saturday!

Based on comments on the Bison forum, that's how they feel. Sagarin rankings seem to agree. It will be interesting to see how their game against Oregon goes next year. This article is almost a year old, but the overall message probably hasn't changed much.

I've been following the Bison forum, and they have the same comments. "So the difference between the No. 1 team in FCS and the No. 4 team is 3 TDs. Good grief, we won't be tested til Sept 5, 2020." (They play Oregon on 9/5/20.)

I don't really understand the logic in being the dominant team for so long in FCS. Good for them, they clearly have an awesome program. But is there no drive for the next level? Or is it limitations on the Fargodome, and not being able to move up without a larger stadium? I know I've seen people on this forum pushing for UCD to move up to FBS, with more rational people looking for a first FCS title before even bringing that conversation to the table.

I'm hoping for a good game. But in reality, I think NDSU is just too stacked and Davis will start making mistakes. And NDSU will capitalize on every small mistake/error/misjudgment that we normally get away with, or at least are usually able to recover from.

Any update on Bland? I took a peek at the Lehigh football forum. They seem pretty down on the team this year, and have already chalked it up to a growth year with a lot of young players on the team.

Stats poll just released. Top 9 remain nearly unchanged. Weber and Maine trade the 6 and 7 spots. Ags stay at #5.

Women's wrestling is blowing up right now. When Davis cut the wrestling program, my first reaction was why don't they just make the team coed, or create a women's team??? Yeah, I didn't do enough digging. When we purchased our tickets for the Stanford game last year, you could buy a parking pass for $25 to park in the dirt lot. The $60 "day pass" offered on the UCD website is obviously special event parking and you're paying a premium for a "Team Aggie Pass." False alarm... Move along, nothing to see here ;-)

Thanks. "Single Game" parking passes are listed at $60 for Lot 53. Seemed ridiculous. $60 total is much more reasonable ($10 for my son, $40 for me, and $10 for parking).
