Zero, really? Have you seen the rise in women's wrestling and MMA/UFC? I don't quite understand what Urijah is promoting here and specifically what Combat U is. But if it gets people who are already training in to college courses, why is that a bad thing?

Just my two cents, but I feel like Davis (and many other schools, including Fresno St.) should bring back wrestling programs with coed squads, or even female only if Title IX is an issue.

Also, you can't argue about concussions when colleges put billions of dollars into football. If concussions are concerning, time to drop football, soccer, competitive cheer, equestrian, etc.

He was definitely a transfer from Santa Barbara. I think that was the point of that comment, that he wasn't the right fit at SB and not what they were looking for, but that Les doesn't look for those same things in his bigs. And because of that, Rocak is fitting in at Davis.

We're watching the Patriots game, and there is a rookie who went to my son's HS, Serra in San Mateo. Antonio Mafi played at UCLA and was 411 pounds his freshman year, 40% body fat with a size 50 waist. He's now down to 329. (All info from wikipedia.)

Yep, that's my dad. He was with Bob when he passed. I don't know all of the details, but my dad felt Bob was shuffled around and not taking care of.

I believe he was the biggest guy in the NFL at the time. He was one of my dad's best friends anf it was a sad day when he passed. Bob sure had a lot of crazy stories to tell!
