Big concern is depth and fatigue this week. Sounds like we’ve been using a lot of true freshmen (including walk-ons) on special teams to get frontliners some rest. Those guys have used their 4 games (so as not to burn their redshirt), so they aren’t traveling.

Biggest difference is the 3 road games to start the season, all with late kickoffs, 2 with significant travel. Although, the injuries don’t seem like fatigue played a role

we started with 3 running backs, with Perez a 'luxury' that we could rely on for 3rd down, or as an occasional slot player. now, we're down to our starter (who is a bit on the small size) and somebody who has 9 rushes on the year.......to carry us into the playoffs!

agree...its one of those hindsight things from guys that are sitting at home with a beer in their hand. i don't recall any of the broadcasters bringing it up and they are never shy about discussing mental mistakes.

The thing that stands out in the expansion pictures is how slanted the upper decks would be. If you were in the top row on the east side, you might be able to jump into the rec pool on a hot day!

agree - I watched the beginning of the game and it was ‘coach’. He was fine as a fill in, doesn’t have much insight on the opponents.

I suspect his major role in program is with recruiting - he’s supposed to be a master recruiter!

I think the depth chart updater is out for the season. I was talking to someone in the know last night about injuries and it sounds like the DB situation is dire. Vargas is a big concern for me - he had pads on in second half, but no helmet and never near the coaches.
