The attitude from the Davis community and alumni has not changed since I was a student over 20 years ago. People aren't donating to the program in a meaningful way. No passion.

Until that changes, we aren't going anywhere.

It can change, but Mrak / AD has implemented a "show me" attitude. They've put it on us, and things are stagnant.

I brought up putting "Aggie Pride" somewhere on the field a few years back, like "Bear Down" at U of A. I always thought that was cool.

I think our field is the best looking in the conference right now.

I feel we have finally gotten the helmets/uniforms correct after a lot years that weren't so great.
The Russell Athletic years were not great '06-'09. The early Adidas years 2010-2016 were an overall improvement.

Starting in 2017 we've gotten things straightened out. CA and script Davis on helmets all the way for me.
I don't see anyone straying from the athletics font, which seems to be unique to Davis, and most people seems to like.

Gold Davis script helmet, white jerseys, gold pants on the road for me. The team looks lean and fast in that look.

What should change is the University logo font UCDAVIS.

My daughter (13) is really disappointed about Equestrian. We've been to a few meets.
It seemed like the program was on the rise.

For Ellison the Davis offer is the only one that got "!!" for whatever that's worth. Seems like his best offer so far.

The whole agent thing is gross. Poking around the families all the time trying to drum up business whether the kids know it or want it. Trying to create interest for a kid before he even enters the portal or is a client, or is even aware, then pounce.

Washington State provides some cash and probably a good shot at QB1. I believe they have 3 underclassman QB's presently. Their previous starter was a transfer from Bryant who just graduated.

JuJu Lewis will be QB1 at Colorado. He was a 5* recruit in 2024, right? So Pinnick would be a back-up?
Or maybe they aren't sold on their 5* guy....Marion knows what he coached against.

First thing that came to my mind when Colorado popped up: Marion saw the talent in the Causeway game.

A lot of feet-dragging on this. Not helping schools by leaving this unresolved for so long. Legal system takes forever, but the NCAA fighting this so hard is crazy given the way anything goes these days.
